Job Description
A defense manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This role is a strong fit for someone who takes pride in process integrity, thrives in a structured environment, and wants to make a real impact on how product quality is maintained from the floor up.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and inspection processes
- Investigate nonconformances, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues in real time
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up
- Maintain and update quality documentation, procedures, and standards
- Partner with suppliers on quality requirements and incoming inspection criteria
Quality Engineer / Senior Quality Engineer Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience as a quality engineer required
- Bachelors in engineering or business related field required
- Must be a US Citizen
