Job Description

Our client is a made-to-order manufacturing facility located near Fountain Inn. They are seeking a technically strong Quality Engineering Manager with a degree and a strong focus on continuous improvement. This individual will thrive in a team-oriented environment and have a proven ability to lead, develop both people and processes, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and drive the overall quality strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations
Lead quality initiatives across multiple departments
Use data and audits to fill gaps and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Team player attitude to work cross-functionally with departments to resolve quality issues and streamline processes as needed
Ensure compliance processes, including ISO 9001 and industry-specific requirements
Analyze root causes of quality concerns and implement corrective actions to improve performance and throughput
Build and develop the quality team through training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or testing environment; equivalent education and experience will be considered
Engineered to Order
ISO 9001 Compliance Management
Supplier quality experience
