Job Description

Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician to join their team. The primary role is to support manufacturing and New Product Development (NPD) by applying metrology processes, statistics, inspection, testing techniques and quality systems.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assists Engineers with the tasks related to the development and/or update of Risk Management FMEA and similar documentation
  • Supports Engineering group in development and performance of equipment installation, software, and operational qualifications and process operational and process qualifications for customer manufacturing processes
  • Performs data analysis, researching, compiling and analyzing information and assists in GR&R activities. Creates measurement system programs, when necessary
  • Communicates quality issues to Quality Engineers 
  • Supports internal and external audit activities
  • Supports continuous improvement methods to help achieve company goals for a robust and effective system.   
  • Performs product and material testing, as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education and Experience 

Required

  • 2 year degree in quality, manufacturing, engineering, or related equivalent experience  
  • Regulated manufacturing industry experience 

Desired

  • 2+ years of regulated manufacturing experience. 
  • Quality certification(s) (e.g. ASQ CQE, CQT, CQA, etc.). 
  • Class I, II and/or III Medical Device manufacturing experience. 
  • Knowledge and experience with GMP/ISO Standards.

Hourly Range: $27.00 - $35.00
