Join a growing manufacturing team in Oxford, ME, as a Quality Inspector and help ensure products meet high standards for quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.As a Quality Inspector, you'll inspect materials and finished products, verify quality standards, document findings, and work closely with production teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.What Youll Do As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products for quality and accuracy.*
- Performing visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and equipment.*
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.*
- Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate quality records.*
- Identifying nonconforming materials or products and communicating findings to the appropriate teams.*
- Assisting with quality investigations and process improvements.*
- Supporting production by ensuring quality standards are consistently met.*
- Maintaining inspection equipment and following calibration procedures.
- Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.*
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.*
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.*
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.*
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.*
- Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation.*
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
