Position Summary

Support manufacturing by inspecting products and processes to meet quality and scheduled goals of the company.

Essential Functions

· Perform inspection of product.

· Work in accordance with inspection sheets.

· Participate in root cause corrective action investigations.

· Learn and develop hands-on proficiency with inspection processes utilized by the company.

· Follow written and verbal instructions, engineering drawings or sketches.

· Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances.

· Participate in the operation of and compliance with all safety, hazardous material handling and disposal requirements in accordance with government regulations and company procedures.

· Maintain a clean work environment in full compliance with all internal, customer and government regulations.

Experience and Education

· Highly skilled in bench inspection.

· Ability to work from sketches and use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height stands, indicators, shadow graph and CMM.

· Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to use sketches and measuring instruments.

· Subject to complete vision exam per requirements of National Aerospace Standards (NAS) 410.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation

$40000 - $100000 / year

Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
