Job Title: Quality InspectorLocation: Elk River, MNCompensation: $23.00–$27.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: Weekend & Swing Shift Available! | 6 am- 6:30 pm or 10 am- 8pmJob Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Quality Inspector workers for a precision machining and manufacturing company in Elk River, MN. In this role, you’ll help ensure high-quality parts for aerospace, defense, medical, and technology customers. If you enjoy detailed inspection work and want steady weekend or swing shifts with weekly pay, this could be a great match.What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
- Inspect incoming parts and materials to verify purchase order requirements
- Perform first article inspections to validate manufacturing processes
- Conduct in?process and final inspections on machined parts
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, CMMs, and optical devices
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment
- Record inspection results in the internal MES system
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Follow OSHA, ISO 9001, and AS9100 quality and safety standards
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem?solving abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
