Qualified Staffing of Chattanooga is NOW HIRING!Quality InspectorMonday- Friday | 11pm- 7amReach out to us for more information: 423-242-0062Job Responsibilities- QA Inspector- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, usingmeasuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, vision systems etc.,- Discard or reject products, material, and equipment not meeting specifications.- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifyingand correcting these problems.- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessarycorrective actions.- Able to Record inspection data in EXCEL.- Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.- Work closely with manufacturing personnel on product evaluation.- Perform lot sampling (Visual Inspection) on finished product.- Perform periodic in-line inspections of finished product.- Write quality procedures as needed.- Implement and confirm quality systems for traceability and documentation.- Enforce GMP implementation and compliance.Qualifications:- High school diploma or general education degree required- 1 to 3 years or experience in the related field.- Entering, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.- Near Vision- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).- Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance.- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and othertechniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing work - developing specific goals and plans toprioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.- Communication skills - providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinatesby telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.- Use and understanding of computer interfaced equipment.
