Job Description
Position: Quality Manager
Location: Oxford, Alabama area
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering (or related field) and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100
- At least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality position
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, 5-Whys, Ishikawa diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawing, blue prints, and schematics. Knowledge of Geometric Tolerance and Dimensioning (GD&T) and MIL-SPEC.
- Expert in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and problem solving
Basic Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of Quality inspectors performing receiving and in-process inspections.
- Lead cross-functional Material Review Board team to evaluate and determine disposition of non-conforming material
- Manage gage lab to include calibration and tracking of all inspection gages
- Maintain and improve QMS in accordance with ISO 9001
