Job Description
Quality Manager | Shelton, CT | $90K to $130K + Growth OpportunityWe're partnered with a precision manufacturing company in Shelton, CT to hire a Quality Manager to lead their Quality Assurance function.This is a strong opportunity for:
- A Quality Engineer ready to step into leadership, or*

- Mix of hands-on and strategic leadership
- Lead and develop the quality team*
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all processes*
- Manage and maintain IATF 16949 compliance*
- Oversee PPAP and ISIR submissions, non-conformance reporting, corrective actions (8D), internal audits, SPC, gauge programs, and cost of quality tracking*
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and suppliers*
- Participate in APQP and quote reviews*
- Maintain quality systems, documentation, and procedures
- Automotive manufacturing experience (REQUIRED)*
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis*
- Background as a Quality Engineer ready for the next step or a current Quality Manager*
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred*
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Mixed office and manufacturing floor*
- Occasional travel required
- $90,000 to $130,000 based on experience
