Lead Quality Strategy

Lead statistical process control (SPC) efforts across manufacturing operations to improve process stability and product quality. Maintain and analyze statistical databases, process capability studies, and quality performance metrics. Monitor real-time production data to identify trends, variation, and opportunities for improvement. Evaluate manufacturing equipment and processes through statistical analysis and capability assessments. Develop and implement effective SPC methodologies and quality control strategies. Train and mentor manufacturing and engineering personnel on statistical methods, problem-solving tools, and SPC software applications. Support and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement initiatives. Serve as a key liaison between production, engineering, quality, management, suppliers, and customers. Generate reports and presentations on process performance, quality metrics, and improvement projects. Maintain measurement system analysis (MSA) programs and support calibration activities. Conduct gauge R&R, stability studies, and measurement system evaluations. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards including ISO 9001 and AS9100. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and quality data to support ongoing quality initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, process improvement, statistical analysis, or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability analysis. Experience utilizing SPC software platforms such as JMP, NWA, or similar statistical tools. Proficiency with Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gauge R&R studies, and calibration systems. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulated manufacturing quality systems. Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. Excellent communication and training abilities. Six Sigma certification and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification strongly preferred.
