Quality Technician- Your future position?

As a Quality Technician with Givaudan, the global leader in fragrance and flavor industry, you will under limited supervision to inspect and analyse raw materials, in-process as well as finished product samples to secure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications and standards. This position will be report to Quality Team Leader.

In this exciting role you also will:

• Perform chemical, sensory evaluations and microbiology tests.
• Create sensory plan and lead sensory evaluations of products.
• Enter test results into SAP timely resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
• Performs instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratory including calibrations.
• Maintain work a hygienic, 5S implementation and safe work environment.
• Identify opportunity for improvements in QC and set proactive measure for trouble prevention.
• Coordinate and supervise any internal and external audit including any audit management system from certification bodies.
• Implement Continuous Improvement program as a mandatory program such as 5 S.
• Participate and coordinate discussion with project management team (including external party and vendor).
• Provide backup and support to team members as necessary.

Your professional profile includes:

• Diploma or S1 in Food Technology, Chemical, Biology, or related science or chemical/industrial engineering discipline.
• Overall work experience of 3-5 years in QAQC, preferably with chemical and sensory exposure, quality control for production.
• Operational QC and QA with experience and strong affinity on laboratory system, sensory, analytical equipment and instruments, including microbiology test
• Knowledge on chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
• Experience in SAP is preferred.
• Understand the process of line qualification and validation, qc release and laboratory management system.
• Understand packaging test and packaging development is preferred.
