What You'll Do

As a Quick Service Technician, you'll perform preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections while ensuring every vehicle leaves our shop safe, reliable, and serviced to the highest standards. Your work is critical to customer safety, dealership success, and building long-term customer trust.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine oil and filter changes according to General Motors specifications.
• Rotate and inspect tires, including tread depth, wear patterns, condition, and tire pressure.
• Complete a thorough General Motors Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection (MPVI) on every vehicle.
• Inspect brakes, steering, suspension, batteries, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, lighting, wiper blades, and other visible safety components.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos using Xtime Multimedia to clearly document vehicle conditions, maintenance recommendations, and repair needs.
• Upload multimedia findings promptly into Xtime to provide customers with a transparent, easy-to-understand view of their vehicle's condition.
• Ensure all multimedia accurately supports inspection findings and recommended services.
• Document inspection results accurately using the dealership's digital inspection platform.
• Communicate maintenance recommendations and safety concerns promptly to the Service Advisor.
• Reset maintenance reminders and verify all services have been completed correctly before releasing the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all General Motors service procedures, dealership processes, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

• Upload all inspection media promptly through Xtime so Service Advisors can communicate recommendations efficiently.
• Present accurate, honest documentation that helps customers make informed decisions about their vehicle.

Professional multimedia inspections improve transparency, strengthen customer trust, reduce misunderstandings, and support ethical service recommendations.

Successful Quick Service Technicians consistently:

• Perform maintenance services accurately and efficiently.
• Complete thorough Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections on every vehicle.
• Produce clear, professional Xtime Multimedia that supports inspection findings.
• Document findings honestly and completely.
• Identify legitimate maintenance and safety concerns.
• Minimize comebacks through quality workmanship.
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians.
• Prioritize customer safety with every vehicle serviced.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Rotational Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
