R&D Tax Credit Intern - Summer 2026 - Franklin, TN

Location(s): Franklin, TN

A Day in the Life:   

• Coordinate information requests with Nissan project engineers and subject matter experts

• Monitor and track the status of R&D project surveys and responses

• Communicate with project owners, Nissan Tax, and Deloitte to manage R&D survey workflows, including reassignments and follow-ups on missing or incomplete surveys

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of R&D survey progress and response tracking

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to the team

• Collaborate effectively across teams and maintain clear, professional communication

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, with an interest in cars, technology, manufacturing and R&D; business, engineering, and computer science majors welcome.

• GPA of 3.0 or above

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

• Solid organization skills

• Have an understanding of IS systems (desired)

• Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets
