What you will do:
- Works independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet timelines.
- Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments.
- Designs, procures, and fabricates tooling and fixtures.
- Performs troubleshooting on new products/process problems as related to design, material, or process.
- Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from test results; prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to the technical community; responsible for engineering documentation.
- May train and/or provide work direction to technicians; works cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing to ensure project success.
- Demonstrates PDP/TPD system knowledge through delivery of high-quality deliverables; builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
- Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling, and/or automation.
What You Need
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related technical discipline
- Up to two years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
- Any exposure to medical devices—such as relevant coursework, internships, or academic projects—is strongly valued.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with proven leadership abilities.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyse, and troubleshoot fundamental systems.
- Experience leading structured problem-solving initiatives to address basic technical challenges.
- Ability to engage effectively with physician customers, comprehend relevant procedures, and accurately interpret customer needs and product requirements.
