Job Description

Radiation Oncology SpecialistJoin our dynamic team as a Radiation Oncology Specialist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional cancer care to patients. This is an outstanding opportunity for dedicated professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact in the field of oncology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will utilize advanced radiation therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes and support comprehensive cancer treatment plans.Required Skills:

Valid medical license and board certification in Radiation Oncology
Proven experience in delivering radiation therapy treatments
Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and equipment operation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to assess patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Proficient in the latest radiation oncology technology and software

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with emerging radiation therapy modalities
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Additional certifications in advanced radiation techniques or oncology

Preferred Education and Experience:

Doctorate or Masters degree in Medical Physics, Radiation Oncology, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting
Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary oncology team

Other Requirements:

Must hold valid licensure and certifications required by state and federal laws
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training sessions
Travel reimbursements and additional allowances provided as applicable

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00.
