Job Description
General Objectives: As a member of the radiation oncology team, administers ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating diseases. Demonstrates general understanding of anatomy and physiology pathology, medical terminology, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, radiation oncology techniques, radiation safety and the psychosocial aspects of cancer toward the end. This position is posted as full-time but we are open for part timers also. Pay Scale:
- Hourly pay Range: $41.56 to $62.34
- Yearly Base Salary Range: USD $86444 to $129667
Key Requirements:
- Successful completion of a radiation therapy training program, R.T. (T) certification and maintaining certification.
- Experience in the area of Radiation Oncology is preferred, but not required. We are considering all levels of experience for this position.
- Working knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations pertaining to radiation therapy.
- Ability to interpret and deliver treatments per plans and relevant treatment protocols.
- Experience with modern radiation therapy delivery systems, imaging systems and electronic medical records.
- Experience with the following techniques required: Breath Hold, SRS and SBRT, Superficial and HDR.
- Working knowledge of Mosaiq highly preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
