Job Description
This opening is for a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiography) at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM a facility serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The medical center holds PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditation and offers a broad range of services including a cancer center, childbirth center, inpatient behavioral health unit, pediatric unit, and extensive imaging services.The role. The Radiologic Technologist works within the Radiology department performing general radiographic imaging across a diverse patient population spanning pediatric through adult and geriatric ages. The department operates on General Electric imaging equipment and documents within a Cerner EHR environment. Given the facility's trauma designation and regional draw including cases flown in from across the Four Corners area the technologist will encounter a broad mix of emergent and routine imaging needs. The position includes on-call responsibilities in addition to regular scheduled shifts.What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care radiography experience
- General radiography competency required
- BLS certification required at time of submission
- New Mexico state licensure or Compact licensure not required at time of application; candidates must obtain licensure prior to start date
- All additional life support certifications may be obtained after hire
