- Perform digital diagnostic X-rays (extremities, chest, torso)
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety (ALARA)
- Maintain image quality control and compliance standards
- Prepare images for provider interpretation and radiologist overreads
- Maintain radiology equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
- Ensure compliance with California radiology regulations
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Document patient history in EMR
- Perform EKGs, injections, wound care, splinting
- Conduct rapid lab testing (flu, strep, COVID, urinalysis)
- Assist providers with procedures (laceration repair, incision & drainage, etc.)
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Support workers’ compensation documentation
- Assist with hiring and training clinical staff
- Supervise radiology workflow and quality standards
- Maintain supply inventory and equipment readiness
- Support operational excellence in urgent care delivery
- ARRT Registered (RT-R) preferred
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License
- Experience in digital radiography
- Comfortable cross-training in Medical Assistant duties
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Active California Limited X-Ray Permit
- Experience performing digital imaging
- Urgent care or outpatient experience preferred
