Radiology / Cardiology/Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration:13 Weeks Start:06/08/2025 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Description: Radiology/Cardiology/Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures using specialized medical equipment to help physicians diagnose and treat diseases. The technologist prepares patients for procedures, explains exams, and ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the process. They operate imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine cameras, or cardiac imaging systems while adhering to radiation safety standards. The role includes administering contrast agents or radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed and monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Technologists also maintain accurate patient records, ensure equipment quality control, and collaborate closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Looking for candidates who can start 3/2, 3/9, 3/16 or 3/23 PET/CT & Nuclear Med Tech – M-F | LOCAL OK | 1st Timer OK Schedule: • Monday–Friday, start times varies - Start times are 6, 6:30,7,7:30,8,8:30 and 9:30 - must be flexible • 8-hour shifts • Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks • 1 evening shift & 1 Saturday per month Highlights: • Federal holidays off • Steady weekday schedule • Supportive team environment • First-time travelers welcome! Daily Caseload: • ~33 PET/CT scans • Whole-body FDG, Brain, Cardiac, Neuroendocrine Imaging • 2 PET/CT scanners • Mostly oncology cases Requirements: • Experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine • IV starts, PACS • BLS, ARRT or NMTCB, State License • Inpatient & Outpatient experience Other Info: • Scrubs not provided (prefer grey) About Accede: Accede Solutions is a Nationally Certified Search firm providing services in multiple sectors.
