Radiology / Cardiology/Cath Lab Tech:Duration:13 Weeks Start:03/02/2026 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)Description: Cath Lab Technologist works within radiology and cardiology departments to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The technologist prepares patients, operates imaging and monitoring equipment, and assists physicians during cardiac catheterizations and related procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, monitoring patient vital signs, and administering contrast media as directed. They ensure proper equipment function, radiation safety, and accurate documentation. The role requires close collaboration with nurses, cardiologists, and radiologists to support efficient workflow. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. Weekend Call: Friday 16:00-Monday 7:30; 1 weekend call a month. No call the week after weekend call. Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type. Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN. Float Requirement: NONE. Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend. PATIENT AGE GROUP: Adults and Geriatrics PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Vice Implants: PPM, ICDSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 80%-10% split with IR being the 80%, 10% being other procedure types. Assist the provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures.
