The general expectation for this shift is to cover STAT and ASAP orders throughout the hospital. This usually consists of ER and OB triage orders, some of which are portable, but most can be transported to the ultrasound department. Routine exams are not an expectation of this shift; however, if there is time at the beginning or end of the shift it is appreciated for routines to be completed as well.
