About the Position Position / Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Shift: Rotating 4x10hrs Day Shifts (0700-1730 & 0930-2000) but varies as we stay until procedures are complete. All team members rotate the shifts but not from day to day. For example, I wouldn t schedule someone 9:30-8 today and then have them 7-5:30 tomorrow I would lump all their 9:30-8 shifts together into one week to keep some consistency, but then the following week they may be on 1st shift. Daily Caseload per tech: We run 4 to 5 labs per day with 2-3 CVT per lab. Case load is around 20-25 cases per day. Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) Yes, call requirements are one weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) per 7 weeks and a call shift and evening shift every week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as Needed Will this traveler float between service lines? (Y/N) No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: (Y/N) No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2+ years of experience First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes National Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process), Must have SC license (SCRQSA). Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers BLS REQ: (Y/N) YES Special Requirements: Cath Lab Experience. Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs. Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case by case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Garages clearance is only for average suv truck Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
