Must be able to respond to call and be at the facility within 30 minutes (need to factor in when considering housing) About the Position Position/Specialty: Echo Tech Shift: 4x10s (9a-7p) weekends and holidays included Daily Caseload per tech: 10-12 On-call REQ: at least 1 weekend a month and 1-3 days a week depending on if you re on call that weekend. Must be able to respond to call and be at the facility within 30 minutes (need to factor in when considering housing) Weekend REQ: 1-2 weekends a month Will this traveler float between service lines? (Y/N) - No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: (Y/N) - No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: (Y/N): Yes National Certs REQ: BLS, ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) Registered with ARDMS or CCI Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) Requires manager's approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs Local Radius: 60-mile radius Locals Accepted: (Y/N) No, locals not accepted RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Total Staffed Beds: 220 Scrub Color: Navy and Seal Blue Charting preferred: Epic Parking Cost: Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
