About this Position Position/Specialty: CT Tech Shift: 4x10s Friday 12p-10:30p, Saturday/Sunday 11a-9:30p, Monday 12p-10:30p Weekend Req: Yes Is on-call REQ: No Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities (Y/N)? No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: maybe Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT) Equipment Experience REQ: Siemens CT, Equipment Experience Preferred: Phillips Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N): Approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: (Y/N): No locals accepted RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Tertiary hospital Total Staffed Beds: 234 Scrub Color: Black/Teal Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free parking Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
