About this Position Position/Specialty: Mobile MRI Tech (Fridays until 5pm, after 5pm Tech will work at Main from 5pm - end of shift) and will work Main MRI tech Saturday-Sunday Shift: Will work 3x12 days Friday-Sunday-7a-7:30p. Will work holidays if they fall on scheduled shift. Is on-call REQ? No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year minimum First-timers accepted: Yes Cert/Lic REQ: BLS, Certification/Licenses REQ/ accepted: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT state license is NOT required Experience Required: Siemens experience Level 1 Trauma experience preferred Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Teal top, black bottom Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. Onetime payment of $20 for a parking pass. STORM TEAMS Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors are assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment. Please note -- Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
