- Position Type: Contract (Travel/Allied)
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary
This is a Cath Lab Tech travel contract opportunity at an acute care hospital in Eureka, California. The facility carries a daily caseload of 8 12 cases and performs a broad range of procedures including coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemakers addressing Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias. First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures
- Perform and assist with peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures
- Assist with permanent pacemaker implantations
- Manage a daily caseload of 8 12 procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Adhere to all facility policies, scrub color requirements, and orientation protocols
Required Skills
- Proficiency in cath lab procedures including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia management
- Ability to manage a daily caseload of 8 12 cases
- On-call availability required
- Ability to participate in orientation (30 hours)
- RTO must be approved at time of submission
- Pending Fluoro Permit accepted candidate must have already applied at time of submission
Education Requirements
- ARRT certification required (RCIS not accepted)
- Fluoroscopy Permit required (pending permit considered must have applied at time of submission)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting required
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 150
- Charting System: Epic
- Scrub Color: OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility
- Parking: Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation
- No weekend requirement
- No floating requirement
- On-call required
- Block schedule: facility will consider accommodations
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Local candidates accepted
- Orientation: 30 hours (all orientation hours billable for preferred profiles)
- COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
Important Notes
- RCIS certification is NOT accepted in lieu of ARRT
- Pending Fluoroscopy Permit candidates are considered candidate must have already applied for the permit at time of submission
- RTO (requested time off) must be approved at time of submission
- Guaranteed Hours Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
