Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract (Travel/Allied)
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary
This is a Cath Lab Tech travel contract opportunity at an Acute Care Hospital in Eureka, California a facility rated as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention by Healthgrades.com and a recipient of the American Heart Association's Bronze Get With The Guidelines recognition. The daily caseload is 8 12 cases, covering coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, permanent pacemakers, and procedures related to Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias. The facility is ASAP start and has 150 total staffed beds.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures
- Perform peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures
- Perform permanent pacemaker implantation procedures
- Manage a daily caseload of 8 12 cases
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Complete all orientation requirements (30 hours; all hours billable)
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency in coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia procedures
- Ability to manage a daily caseload of 8 12 cases
- On-call availability required
- Completion of 30-hour orientation
Education Requirements
- ARRT certification required (RCIS not accepted in lieu of ARRT)
- Fluoroscopy (Fluoro) Permit required candidates with pending Fluoro permits will be considered if the permit has already been applied for at time of submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- First-time travelers accepted

- Scrub Color (Cath Lab): Provided by facility
- Parking: Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation

- Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Local candidates accepted: Yes

Important Notes
- RTO Restrictions: All requested time off (RTO) must be approved at time of submission
- Pending Fluoro Permit: Candidates with a pending Fluoro permit will be considered; the permit must have already been applied for at the time of submission
- RCIS certification is NOT accepted in place of ARRT
- Orientation: 30 hours; all orientation hours are billable for preferred profiles

- Facility has multiple housing resources available; if the traveler is struggling to find housing, the facility will assist including hiring a realtor if necessary
