Job Description

Radiation Therapist for unit treating 60-70 patients per day. Approx. 40pt treated on TrueBeam, 25pt on Ethos, and 5pt on MRI-LinAc. Patient base is primarily adult/geriatric with occasional adolescent. RT will work on team of 13 RTs, 3 Dosimetrists, 3 Physicists, 3 RNs, 4 Physicians, 3 Front Desk, 1 Biller, and 1 RTT-Aide.

3 years experience REQUIRED; 5 preferred. Schedule is Monday through Friday (5x8s) with hours starting as early as 07:00am and ending as late as 20:00pm depending on needs of unit and traveler availability. No weekends, no on-call. EPIC documentation. Grey scrubs required (not provided). RT will receive ~3 shifts orientation, more as needed. 1st time traveler OK.

Certifications REQUIRED: BLS; ARRT T; State (CA) License

Skills/Experience REQUIRED: Adult Outpatient; CBCT/kV/mV imaging; Benign Brain Tumors; External Beam Therapy; IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy; Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials; Respiratory Gating; Stereotactic Radiosurgery; Varis- Vision/ ARIA; ARIA; TrueBeam; Radiation Safety

Skills/Experience Preferred: Teaching Hospital; CT Simulation; Custom Molds; Gynecomastia; Keloids; Superior Vena Cava; Assist with Intracavity/Interstitial Administration; Provision of Treatment to patients with Various Types of Cancer (Hodgkin s Lymphoma; Non-Hodgkin s Lymphoma; Kidney Cancer; Leukemia; Pancreatic Cancer; Testicular cancer); Siemens; Varian 21 ex/ix; Varian Trilogy; Vision RT; Care of the patient in restraints; Crash Cart; Defibrillators; Emergency Cases; Lift/ transfer devices; Patient/family teaching; Billing for treatment types and devices; Isolation Precautions; Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
