Job Description
POSITION: Outpatient X-Ray Tech
SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING
" Shift hours: 5x8, Mon-Fri 9a-530p
" Epic and Siemens experience required
" On Call Requirement: No Call
" RTO: ALL requests must be included with the submission.
" Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
" Accept First-Time Travelers: No
" Locals Accepted? No. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria
REQUIRED LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS
" BLS
" Pending License Accepted:- Virginia state license required. Any active state license (in hand) is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with a license so they can work while their permanent VA license is processing.
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
" Upper extremity: AC joints, Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Humerus, Scapula, Shoulder. Thumb/finger, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Trauma upper extremity (non shoulder), Wrist
" Lower extremity: Ankle, Calcaneus, Femur, Foot, Knee, Patella, Tibia-fibula,Toes, Trauma lower extremity
" Head/Chest: Chest AP, Upper Airway, Facial bones, paranasal sinuses, skull
" Spine/Pelvis: Cervical/Lumbar/Thoracic spine, hip, pelvis, sacrum/coccyx
" Work Settings: Adult and Pediatric Outpatient
UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING
" Patient population: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
