Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in the CT department of our Level I trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience, possess BLS and ARRT certifications, with AART Advanced certification preferred.
Work Environment: The position involves working in a dynamic emergency room (ER) setting with emergent inpatient needs. Our facility is a Level I trauma center, Stroke Accredited, and serves a diverse community.
Shift Details:3x12's 7a-730pWorks every third weekendCall once every 10 weeks
Responsibilities:" Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion." Operate CT equipment efficiently and ensure high-quality imaging." Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures." Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards." Participate in on-call rotation as required, responding promptly to emergent situations.Requirements:" Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience." Current BLS and ARRT certifications required." AART Advanced certification preferred." Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment." Strong communication and interpersonal skills." The Pink shuttle runs every 3 5 minutes during peak start/end times and goes directly to the medical center in about 8 9 minutes. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays.
