5/04 startCT Tech NeededCerts required: KS State Rad Tech license, ARRT (CT Preferred), BLS1 yr of experience is requiredLocals accepted at same BRFriday Saturday Sunday 7p-7a starting on 5/4Siemens experience on the excite platform, no call, weekend nights friday saturday and sunday. Will be working with one other technologist on these shifts.

JOB SUMMARYThe CT Technologist is responsible for providing courteous and professional delivery of CT technicalprocedures/exams to all incoming patients, operating radiologic equipment, and for all paperwork associatedwith technical procedures.

JOB DUTIESEssential Duties" Perform diagnostic computed tomography procedures utilizing a pressure injector and administering contrastunder supervision." Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic computed tomography procedures. Adjusts immobilizationdevices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician." Determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetrationrequired, and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail,density, and accuracy." Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff." Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity andinitiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis." Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment,arranging for repairs as needed. Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of workperformed.
