Refined Job Description for Breast Radiologist PositionPosition: Breast Radiologist (Outpatient Specialty)Location: Lafayette, LA – 1448 South College Road, Lafayette, LA 70503Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-person, no call, no weekends)About the Role: Join our dedicated Breast Radiology team at Lafayette’s outpatient facilities, providing specialized imaging services including screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, Breast MRI, and MRI-guided biopsies. This is an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified Breast Radiologist with a Breast Imaging Fellowship to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Conduct breast ultrasounds and guided biopsies (stereotactic and ultrasound-guided)
• Manage Breast MRI procedures and MRI-guided biopsies
• Provide consultative support to referring physicians and patients
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

• American Board of Radiology-certified or eligible in Radiology
• Completed a dedicated Breast Imaging Fellowship
• Valid medical license in Louisiana or ability to obtain licensure in the state
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Credentials & Certification Requirements:

• Full Coverage of Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Louisiana Professional Corporation Firm (LA PCF) coverage required for credentialing
