Complete Description:Excitingopportunity to work in a fast paced, state-of-the art environment providingspecialized patient care to adult inpatient and outpatients undergoinginterventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolization s, ablations,angiography, drain placements and other image guided procedures). Thisrole includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring and post procedurerecovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). IR is an essentialpart of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. Thisrole requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the abilityto work in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment. The IR RN collaborateswith a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centered care.
Must Have:BLSACLSTelemetry Experience1 year of recent IR experienceNYS RN License
will be required to wear hospital issued and laundered scrub pants and tops in addition to other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas
