Job Title:
CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist)
Location:
Detroit, MI 48236
Duration:
26 weeks
Shift:
5*8 hr shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality computerized tomography (CT) scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate CT equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain optimal diagnostic images
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with facility standards
- Ensure proper use of radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver effective patient care
- May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment
Required Qualification:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable)
- Knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient care standards
Current Certifications:
- ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography Certification (preferred or required based on facility)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in CT imaging
- Experience with general diagnostic radiology procedures
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
