Required Skills / Certifications / Experience
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
- Traveler Experience required: YES, does not accept 1st time travelers.
- Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
- Skills: Neuro Experience, Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, contrast required. All IR procedures including: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies. Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment experience required.
- Certifications: BLS and ARRT
Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience
- ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Experience with EPIC and McKesson preferred
- Experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospital, community hospital, ablations
Job Details
- Shift: First shift with call, staggered start time between 0700 and 0830 for 10 hours/day M-F
- Call Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation. On Call As Needed: Yes, primary and backup call rotation.
- Float Requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation.
Patient Diagnoses
Patient Age Group: Majority Adults and geriatrics, with some Adolescents. Required skill in both Neuro (to include stroke intervention) and Body procedures.
Special Procedures / Unit Details
- Daily Case Load: 13-17
Special Equipment
- Siemens and Phillips required. Acuson preferred.
Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
