Job Description

Position Overview

CLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging at a federal correctional institution in Oxford, Wisconsin. FCI Oxford is a medium-security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum-security satellite camp in rural central Wisconsin. You will operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images, maintain equipment, and manage radiation safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations including chest, extremity, spine, and abdominal imaging
  • Position patients for optimal image quality while maintaining security awareness
  • Process and quality-check radiographic images before physician interpretation
  • Maintain radiographic equipment per manufacturer specifications
  • Implement radiation safety protocols including ALARA principles and dosimetry monitoring
  • Maintain quality control logs and regulatory compliance documentation
  • Document procedures in the BOP electronic health record and PACS system
  • Coordinate with outside facilities for advanced imaging studies

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Active Wisconsin radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical radiography experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to pass federal background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional ARRT certifications (CT, mammography)
  • Correctional or institutional healthcare experience
