- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explain processes, and address concerns.
- Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, adjusting equipment to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective devices to ensure safety.
- Maintain and ensure imaging equipment functions correctly, reporting any issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and input data into the EHR system.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure reliable diagnostic images.
- Stay updated on radiologic technology advancements and participate in ongoing education.
- Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations and hospital policies, maintaining licensures and training.
- Minimum one year experience as a RT technologist in a hospital.
- Must be available rotating weekends and holidays.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R).
- California Dept. of Public Health (CRT).
- California Dept. of Public Health Fluoroscopy Permit.
- Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable.
- Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
- Must have Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months
- Current Annual Health Clearance.
- Must be able to perform well under pressure and exhibit dependable work ethic.
