Radiology Technologist
Role Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join their high-performing imaging team at a state-of-the-art medical center in Newberg, Oregon. This full-time, day shift position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic equipment in a supportive environment focused on delivering outstanding patient care.
As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing high-quality imaging examinations in accordance with physician orders, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity. You’ll be part of a collaborative and mission-driven healthcare team, contributing your expertise to improve lives every day.
A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible external candidates—along with excellent benefits starting on day one.
Duties
Perform radiologic imaging exams based on physician orders using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment.
Ensure appropriate positioning, radiation safety, and image quality with consideration for patient-specific and age-related factors.
Apply clinical judgment in technique calibration and patient care to produce optimal diagnostic images.
Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize radiation exposure to both patients and operators.
Provide a positive patient experience by maintaining professionalism, empathy, and attention to individual needs.
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Education sufficient to meet all certification, license, or registration requirements.
Licensure (upon hire):
Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License
Certification:
National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
For New Graduates: Must hold an OBMI temporary license upon hire and obtain permanent licensure within 6 months
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
