Job Description
Shriners Children's St. Louis is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist. In this role you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy.
Hours: The hours and days will vary for this per diem position. The shifts are within the hours of 6:00 am- 5:00 pm, Monday- Friday, no weekends or holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
- Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out diseaseor injury
- Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
- Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
- Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
- Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor andflexibility during unexpected work related events.
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Prior C-arm experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 Years Pediatric Orthopedics
