Job Description

Job SummaryPerforms diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing various modalities, primarily X-ray, to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients in a PRN (as needed) capacity. Ensures patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality images.Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.

• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.

• Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.

• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.

• Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.

• Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology 

• Certificate Radiologic Technology

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

• BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 Years Pediatric Orthopedics
