Radiology Technologist – Northern Maine Region
Overview
A community focused healthcare facility in the Northern Maine region is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This role offers stability, strong teamwork, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close knit rural community.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following established protocols
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely, accurate imaging
Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and documentation to departmental standards
Follow radiation safety and regulatory guidelines
Participate in call rotation as assigned
Schedule
Full time
Varied shifts depending on department needs
Call rotation may apply
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (R) certification required (or eligible)
Maine state license required (or willing to obtain)
BLS required
Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently
