Job Description
Rail Car Welder/Fabricator Technician $1,100+ WEEKLYJoin SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:
- Must have experience conducting Stick and MIG welding practices, fabricating, and using torch cutters.
- Must have a valid TWIC card
- OSHA 10 is a plus
- Will be performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of rail cars and related equipment
- Fabricate and install metal components, structural supports, brackets, and replacement parts
- Repair damaged steel components, flooring, hatches, doors, couplers, and undercarriage assemblies
- Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and fabrication equipment safely
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Monday to Friday, 5:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Some weekends may be required based on production levels
