Raw Materials Coordinator

Commonwealth Rolled Products is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum rolled products for the Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial markets. The Company operates its production facility in Lewisport, KY with the support of an Automotive Innovation Center for R&D, Sales and Field Service in Madison Heights (DET), and Inside Sales in the Cleveland, OH area.

Our production facility is seeking to add a talented Raw Materials Coordinator to its team at our Lewisport, KY facility. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Raw Materials team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture.
• Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values: Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, Ownership, Excellence, and Teamwork.
• Data entry into Oracle for scheduling raw materials with suppliers in accordance with the metal plan.
• Assist with scheduling issues regarding cancellations/no shows/reschedule requests with suppliers.
• Assist with raw materials inventories monthly Inventory and Casting's Yearly Physical Inventory.
• Monitor/maintain data and/or records of material flow, usage, and inventories, providing routine reports to the Raw Materials Manager for tracking KPI metrics.
• Monitor and track suppliers' delivery performance metrics and report out.
• Provide relief coverage for the Raw Materials Scheduler.
• Interface with Materials Purchasing/ Receiving regarding purchase orders, supplier, and BOL issues.
• Track daily Ingot Saw Production, Scrap Unwind Machine Production, and Scrap Processing (Re-banding) Production.
• Assist with Yearly Raw Materials Inventory.
• Provide daily receiving schedules to plant security, corporate logistics, receiving crews, and Raw Materials Manager.
• Provide various reports to compile metal plan and communicate receiving forecasts to Raw Materials team during metal plan review meetings.
• Enter total dross shipments, recovery percentages and pounds generated into spreadsheets daily and distribute monthly reports.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Solid data-entry skills with the ability to be detail-oriented
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Successful candidate will be detail oriented and exhibit high levels of accuracy
• Basic knowledge of operational and supply chain processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency required for Excel Documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in a production and inventory planning-related field
• 3+ years of administrative experience in an industrial environment
• Working knowledge of ERP including Oracle and Legacy systems
