Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to job sites on schedule
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers
- Manage the loading, transport, and unloading of concrete according to specifications
- Maintain a clean truck and complete required delivery documentation accurately
What Are We Looking For
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with safe driving capability
- Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and situational awareness
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and adapt to changing job site conditions
- Effective communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Dependability and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
