Ready MIX Local Driver - CDL A/B Drivers & CDL Permit Holders - Sign ON Bonus! SD, ND

What you will do:

Drives truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.

Pre-trip inspection of ready-mix truck pursuant to D.O.T. regulations.Fills water tank before each delivery.Uses map book and experience and takes most direct route to job site to ensure on-time delivery.Safely drives truck to jobsite and arrives with the desired slum within customer or job specifications.Ready-mix driver is responsible to call callout each day for start time.

Experience and abilities you will need:

High school diploma (minimum); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical.Maintain driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and meet company policy requirements.Ability to handle cash and make change.Ability to deal with customers and other employees in a diplomatic manner, in a variety of stressful situations.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to read, write and speak in English.Maintain Department of Transportation Health cond.Average Work Hours: 10 hours/day, 4 - 6 days/weekLifting 50lbs. frequentlyExtremes temperatures (C or H)
