Role
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative/community-focused Workplace Programs & User Experience Lead to oversee operations across our entire portfolio, including our corporate headquarters and technical R&D facilities.

Your primary focus will be on the "soft" side of workplace management: leading culture-building programs, food services, and high-impact events while ensuring our labs and offices remain safe, functional, and compliant.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Workplace Experience & Cultural Support: Enable a vibrant onsite culture by providing the high-quality "platforms" that drive belonging. You will lead the strategy for essential onsite programs like food services (cafes and MicroKitchens) and employee amenities, while partnering cross-functionally to provide the logistical backbone for community events that drive "buzz" and belonging.
- Soft Services Management: Direct the delivery of essential workplace services, including visitor experience, transportation/EV charging, shipping & receiving, and office amenities (supply closets, dog policy, etc.).
- Strategic Workplace Programming: Partner with leadership to foster spontaneous collaboration, utilizing open commons and collaborative zones to encourage cross-functional breakthroughs.
- Global Portfolio Oversight: Manage workplace operations across our locations (Mountain View, Munich, Singapore, Zurich, and Toronto), aligning strategy with long-term growth and business goals.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring spaces are functional, inviting, and representative of the Intrinsic brand.
- Lab & Safety Compliance: Support high-energy lab environments by ensuring safety standards are met. Drive continuous improvement to enhance organization and efficiency.
- Financial & Stakeholder Management: Manage OpEx and CapEx budgets for workplace and culture programs, maintaining a "scrappy" mindset to optimize resources.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as a primary partner to leadership, HR, and Google REWS, translating business needs into actionable workplace and culture strategies.
Skills you will need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, and EH&S; particularly within research or dynamic start-up environments.
- Demonstrable experience managing a mixed portfolio of properties, including corporate offices and technical R&D or lab environments.
- Strong organizational, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner laterally across technical & corporate teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar CapEx and OpEx budgets.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
