• Provide legal advice and guidance on all kinds of real estate matters including transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and property level risk.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of real estate agreements including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, financing agreements, and property management agreements.
• Represent owners in all aspects of real estate transactions.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and provide legal analysis of various real estate assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose innovative solutions.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its assets.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 5 years of legal experience in real estate law, preferably with a focus on commercial real estate.
• Expert knowledge of real estate law, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing-related issues.
• Proven experience in representing owners in real estate transactions.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and challenges.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
