A bit about us:

Our client is an established, privately held law firm that has grown quickly across Delaware over the past several years. The firm has multiple offices throughout the state and also serves clients in neighboring jurisdictions. Its practice centers on property transactions, closings, entity formation, and estate and bankruptcy matters. It is now building out a dispute resolution capability in its Dover office and wants a commercial litigator to lead that effort. The firm is known for responsive service, a collegial culture, and clients who come back and refer others.

Juris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the Delaware Bar (admission in Maryland or Pennsylvania is a plus)Several years of commercial litigation experience, including contract disputes, business and partnership conflicts, and real property related claimsDemonstrated experience handling matters from pleading through discovery, motion practice, and trial or settlementStrong research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsSound judgment and the ability to manage a caseload independentlyComfort developing business and nurturing referral relationshipsProfessional, client focused communication style
