Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Real Estate Coordinator/Staff ROW Specialist. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Reading, PA or Greensburg, PA, orAkron, OH (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $29/hr - $32/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Our client has an immediate need for a Real Estate Coordinator/Staff ROW Specialist, either in Reading, PA or Greensburg, PA or Akron, OH (Onsite) and seeking someone who will be responsible for researching, reviewing, interpreting, and preparing land and Right-of-Way (ROW) documents, including easements, deeds, leases, permits, and agreements.
  • Perform property rights and restrictions reviews, support permitting, maintain and quality-check stakeholder databases, and compile technical data.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, GIS specialists, and ROW teams while managing multiple projects and supporting public engagement activities.
  • Analyze, prepare, review, and interpret Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
  • Complete rights and restriction reviews.
  • Complete permitting requirements as needed.
  • Research and review of real property related documents.
  • Understand and interpret easement agreements.
  • Support translation of data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database.
  • Complete quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents.
  • Compile technical data to be presented to Right of Way project team.
  • Support project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, vegetation management team, Right of Way managers and real estate coordinators as required.
  • Attend and participate in public open houses as requested.
  • Support Client needs as directed.
  • Efficient at working independently as well as in team environment.
  • Manage and oversee several projects at once.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

  • Must have a min 2-8 years of experience supporting Right of Way, Land Acquisition, Title Research, easements, deeds, leases, permits, and agreements.
  • Background Preferred: Real Estate or Land Agent or Title Agent or Right of Way or Lease or Environmental, Urban Planner or similar role titles.
  • Bachelors + min 2 yr relevant experience OR Associates + min 3 years relevant experience OR HS + min 5 yrs relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in working with spreadsheets and other task tracking software.
  • Capable of working with diverse skill sets in fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player focused on Client service.
  • Experience with Electric facilities or railroads preferred but not required.
  • Well organized and able to simultaneously pursue and track multiple project efforts.
  • Experience with Google Earth and familiarity with construction drawings is preferred but not required.
  • Designation from IRWA nor required but desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license required.  Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company’s vehicle driving privileges.
