We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Real Estate Equity team, supporting acquisitions and asset management activities across the Eastern US. This individual will be deeply involved in analyzing new investment opportunities, maintaining and enhancing valuation models, preparing investment materials, and supporting execution from underwriting through closing.

This is an opportunity to join a well‑capitalized, high‑performing platform with meaningful exposure to senior leadership, investment committees, and cross‑functional real estate teams. The role offers hands‑on experience across acquisitions, valuation, leasing analysis, and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite and analyze potential acquisitions using complex ARGUS and Excel cash flow models.
  • Build, maintain, and refine valuation models for assigned assets, reflecting new leases, market changes, and updated assumptions.
  • Coordinate quarterly valuations with asset managers, regional directors, and third‑party appraisers; review appraisals and reconcile issues.
  • Monitor property performance through monthly reporting, hold/sell analyses, and variance reviews.
  • Evaluate economic, demographic, and market data to support acquisition decisions and portfolio strategy.
  • Prepare clear, concise investment committee briefs and supporting materials.
  • Analyze lease transactions, including net effective rents, and assess value impact.
  • Assist with annual budgets, business plans, quarterly portfolio updates, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Support the due diligence process, including legal, financial, and physical reviews for new acquisitions.
  • Provide support on acquisition financing, including lender coordination.
  • Maintain and update the acquisition pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Participate in recurring leasing calls and property‑level strategy discussions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned assets, markets, and tenant drivers.
  • Engage with brokers, developers, and operators to evaluate opportunities and validate underwriting assumptions.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, asset valuation, or a related financial discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree required; business, finance, economics, or real estate focus preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel modeling required.
  • Analytical rigor with the ability to break down complex data into clear insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resourceful problem‑solver with sound judgment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Base Salary Range: $115,000- $150,000 plus additional incentives
